Ashburton’s second bridge still needs the community’s support Ashburton Mayor Neil Brown says.

The project has been included in the Government’s draft Government Policy Statement for land transport to be fully funded and constructed by 2030.

But it is just a draft that is out for consultation and Brown is encouraging the community to submit their support for the second bridge.
