Multiple vehicle crash on SH1 Tinwald - Near intersection of Laings Road

Emergency services were called to a crash involving a truck and three vehicles at about 3.30pm on State Highway One near Tinwald today.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said two crews from Ashburton had responded along with police and ambulance services.
A person trapped in their car had been rescued and there were reports of injuries, but none seemed life-threatening.
State Highway One would be closed, with detours in place, until the scene is cleared.
