A garage is engulfed in flames, with the house behind it in danger, in a dramatic fire in St Andrews, near Timaru.
Guardian managing editor Daryl Holden was first on the scene, saying everyone was thankfully out of the house and waiting anxiously on the roadside for fire crews to turn up.
