Top tips to ensure your holiday goes without a “hitch”

· Call for an appointment to see one of the experienced consultants at House of Travel

· Book early so you can exactly what you want – especially if travelling in School Holidays

· Bring your ideas to us and we will add our ideas to create an amazing holiday.  Identify what goals you have for this trip and make choices based on these goals.

· Make sure your Passport has at least 6 months validity when you return home to NZ

· Travel Insurance – don’t leave home without it.  Leave expensive jewellery and items at home.

· Consider if you are flying Business Class, Premium Economy or Economy Class on your flights.  Pre-seat on the flights with your consultant as soon as possible.

· If you are booking a cruise let our consultant guide you as to the best position on the ship to suit your needs and budget

· When possible, eat where the locals do – always the best experience

· Avoid over packing. Make sure you can Mix and Match your clothes. Keep that Suitcase weight to a minimum, remembering you are the one that must carry it.

· Be cautious when in crowded places, make sure your Passport, money and credit cards on safely tucked away. A good idea to have a copy of your passport in your suitcase. Try to avoid being an obvious tourist!

· Ensure you have chargers and adapters for your cell phone and any other laptops or tablets you have

· Make sure all medications are carried in your hand luggage and in the packaging given to you
