Today it’s a mass of earth, metal and machines, but by the end of this year a new classroom block will be open for business on the Ashburton Intermediate School site. At rear is an elderly two-storey building that will be demolished and replaced by a single storey 10 classroom block, completing a three-stage rebuild of the school.
