and conditions govern the Royal Canin Working Dog Photography Competition. The

Who can enter? |
Only New Zealand residents who: (a)
are aged 18 or over;
If you are under the
age of 18 you must have permission to enter from your parent or guardian. By
submitting an entry for the competition, your parent/carer/guardian is deemed
to have given such consent and to agree to the use of the entry as described
in these terms and conditions.
(b)
By entering the competition, you agree to the
provisions of these terms and conditions and to comply fully with them.

Who can't enter? |
Directors, officers, management and
employees (and their immediate families) of: (a)
the
Promoter;
and
(b)
the
agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this
competition and judging.
“Immediate family member” means any of the
following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether
natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st
cousin.

To gain entry into the Competition, a entrant must, during the
Promotional Period, submit their photograph(s) digitally via the

How many winners will there be and how will
they be chosen? |
There will be four (4) winners. Judges will choose
the winner and commended photographers from each category. Judging
date: 18/05/2024 ·

images will be displayed in an online gallery. . Please
note that entrants are responsible for ensuring the correct email address is
used and the Promoter is not responsible for any failure to receive an entry
due to use of the incorrect email address The
Organisers cannot be held responsible for emails that do not arrive due to
the entrant’s email security settings or restrictions placed by their
Internet service provider. The Promoter and the judges may select
additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case a winning
entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants). |
What can I win? |
There
are Four (4) prizes available, one awarded to each category winner. Each Prize
consists of a voucher for 1x
20kg bag of Royal Canin Energy 4800 redeemable at their nearest vet clinic. Each
Prize is valued at up to NZ $145.00 (including GST) |

to NZ $580 including GST. |
How many times can I enter? |
Submissions of up to 5 images by each
entrant are allowed. |
How and when will the winner/s be informed? |
Winners will be notified in writing
by email or phone within five business days. You agree
that if you are a winner you will take part in and cooperate fully with
reasonable publicity and to the use of your name and photograph in such
publicity, for example, the publication of photograph(s) with your name in
the Rural Guardian and on our website and social media pages. |
Entry Terms |
By
submitting images to Royal Canin Working Dog Photography Competition, each
entrant confirms and warrants that: · They are the sole
author of each entry and that it is their original work. · They own the
copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image. · They have the
permission of anyone pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any
persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights
required by the Promoters and will indemnify the Promoters against any claims
made by any third parties in respect of such infringement. · They have not
licensed or disposed of any rights in the image that would conflict with uses
to be made by the Promoters. · They have received
any necessary permissions from the owner(s) of objects in the image (s) and
will indemnify the Promoters against any claims made by any third parties in
respect of such infringement. · The Promoters have
permission to use the imagery provided across their marketing channels as
long as full credit is given to the image owner. · If you are a winner
or commended photographer you will take part in and cooperate fully with
reasonable publicity and to the use of your name and photograph in such
publicity, for example, the publication of photograph(s) with your name in
the Rural Guardian. · Photos must be taken
in New Zealand within the last five years. ·
The organisers reserve the right to modify these
terms and conditions without notice. |
Unclaimed prize/s |
Prize claim date: a winner must claim their prize by
email and confirm their name and address by 5pm (NZDT) on 17/06/2024. Unclaimed prize determination: 2pm (NZDT) on 18/06/2024 at the same
location as the original judging. If a prize has not been accepted or
claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts,
the Promoters can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the
Promoters) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be
discarded and the Promoters will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve
Entrant/s. |
Collection and use of your personal
information |
Personal information provided by
entrants will be collected and used by the Promoters for the purpose of
conducting and administering this Promotion and otherwise in accordance with
entrants’ consent. Personal information will be stored on the Promoters'
database. The Promoters collect personal information about entrants to enable
them to participate in this Promotion and may disclose the entrants' personal
information to third parties including its contractors and agents, prize
suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion. If
the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they
may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. The Promoter is bound by its privacy
policy and the Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020
(NZ). Personal information collected from entrants may be disclosed to
entities located outside of New Zealand, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

information about: (a)
how
to seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you and
seek correction of the information; and
(b)
how
to complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a
